More on RSS and Blog Feeds!

A previous post on RSS Feeds needs to be updated with new findings.  The previously linked article is a good resource for creating your own RSS pages using Dreamweaver, but not the easiest way to include a Blog Feed on your website.

Upon further investigation, it turns out that Google's FeedBurner provides all the tools I was looking for.  Headline Animator and BuzzBoost will generate code that can be used on your site or any social network.  Headline Animator can be customized  by uploading your own background image.  The size of the uploaded image will define the size and appearance of your feed.

BuzzBoost provides more options for the content shown in the feed, but does not allow a background image to be supplied.  It will use your site's existing CSS to style the blog feed.

In order to get started, sign up for FeedBurner and register your blog.  All the options are provided in different tabs.
